Premier League Prediction: Leicester vs Man Utd [best crypto sportsbooks odds]
Another clash at the top end of the table takes place on Saturday, with an early kick-off in this tasty fixture. Both sides come into this one with a lot of confidence that they could get all three points, and it’d be a massive three points if so.
Leicester – Man Utd
Leicester sits second in the league, one point above Man Utd who have a game in hand, but Leicester will be looking to pick up all three here.
They beat a very strong Spurs side last time out and deserved their win. They struggled against Everton, but have bounced back well and it would be no surprise if they were to pick up the three points.
Jamie Vardy continues to be the main threat for Leicester, having netted 11 times in the league already. Vardy has to come off late on in the Spurs game but will be available for this one and that should give the whole squad a huge boost.
The Foxes’ could be a contender for the title this season, having already beaten Man City and Spurs, and should they add another to that list in Man Utd, they should be taken very seriously. With games coming thick and fast during the Christmas period, it will be a real test of character for the squad given the depth they lack at times, with first-team players still coming back from long term injuries.
Man Utd’s away form is staggering at the minute. The win in midweek at Everton, means they’ve won their last 13 away games against English opposition, which is a record for the club.
United have quietly gone about their business from game to game, while at points early on in the season, it seemed as if they would struggle which hasn’t been the case. With their away form being what it is, and the fact that they have won four of the last five at Leicester’s stadium, they look to be in a really strong place coming into this one.
Bruno Fernandes’ leads as their top goalscorer with 9, and he’s had a huge impact on the team ever since his arrival in January. He’s had such an effect on the team, that a lot of their fortune has been down to him. Obviously not him alone, as players like Rashford and Cavani are getting in on the goals in recent weeks, but the side that Ole is building now is a side that is looking to be on the up.
Things are looking happier again at United, and as long as they can keep their core players fit and firing, they should be challenging for the title this season.
Prediction: Manchester United To Win
13 games is a long time to not lose an away game, and I don’t see it ending here with that record.
It will no doubt be a very tough game, but I think with where United are at right now, they’re flying with confidence and this will be an equally tough test for Leicester. When United are at it, they go and punish teams, and they have the players to do so. The talent is there, and they’re now getting the right mix of players playing with confidence and creating and scoring goals.
Leicester haven’t won at home against United since 2014, and with their last outing at home being a defeat to Everton, going for Man Utd at those odds seems like a good bet.
Liverpool – West Brom
Over 3.5 Goals
Liverpool scored 7 in their last game against a much stronger team than West Brom. I know West Brom changed manager recently, but it’ll hardly change anything.
West Brom will sit in for as long as the opening goal goes in, which usually isn’t long as Liverpool have the talent all over the pitch to create chance after chance and with West Brom struggling this season already, this one looks to be lost before a ball has been kicked.
I wouldn’t bet against Liverpool scoring four themselves, as they look to show their relentlessness in scoring goals, and deservedly being top of the league, despite the number of issues they’ve had this season, particularly at the back. This bet has landed the last two times these teams played, albeit back in 2018, but there should be goals here, and most if not all from Liverpool’s side.
